Happy Christmas Eve!

Here is my last post right before Christmas and possibly for the year. Can you believe it's almost 2012?...These are the remaining cards I made to send out to family. They are mostly inspired from my fellow demonstrators from Stampin Up'. Enjoy!

Merry Christmas to all and have a safe and wonderful New Year!

Christmas Stockings

Hi all! Happy Sunday! Hopefully you have all of your Christmas shopping complete. If not, you better get going!  I am headed out to the mall one last time today and it's going to be crazy out there! Today's post are these adorable Christmas stockings made with the Big Shot Stocking Die and some random embellishments I had lying around. Super easy to make too! Enjoy!

Snowman and Reindeer Bags

Happy Monday! I thought I would brighten the first day of the work week by sharing these cute little candy bags. You can hang these on your tree or use them as place settings. I think these are my favorite Christmas crafts yet. I will have more to share with you before the "Big" day arrives. Stay tuned!

And I couldn't just end the post without sharing my little baby's 2nd birthday picture. His birthday was actually on the 8th but we celebrated all weekend long with my sister and niece who drove up from Florida. We had a great time!

Very Merry Tissue Boxes

OMG! Aren't these the cutest tissue boxes you have ever seen? I saw these on some other stamper's site and I had to make them. Sorry I didn't put a tissue box inside but you get the idea. Which one is your favorite? I think the Santa one is mine but the singing reindeer is a close second! They were all fun to make though!

Easy Christmas Gift Card Holders

These gift card holders were made in a snap! Now all I need to do is get the gift cards, sign them, and mail. You can either use designer paper or emboss the interior flap where the gift card is inserted. All you basically need is the top note die from Stampin' Up to make these cards.

Christmas Stamp Class

Do you want to make some handmade cards for Christmas? We have the perfect class for you!

Join us at Sharon Baptist Church on Saturday, December 3rd at 6:00pm where you will make 4 cards of each design above (total of 12 cards) along with a special Christmas craft. We will supply everything you will need to make these cards.

Please RSVP no later than Friday, November 25th to save your spot since spaces are limited. You can either sign up at church or add a comment to this post. The cost is $20 per person. We hope to see you there!

"Create Everyday" shadow box

I saw this on Stampin' Connection and had to make one! Isn't it lovely? The letters are from the Cricut and I used the large tag punch. I picked up the shadow box frame from Marshalls and the size is 11x14. If you look closely, there are small details added to some of the tags to give it that extra touch. Enjoy!

Give Thanks

I love the new Hand-Penned Holidays stamp set. It's so elegant and works perfect on this Thanksgiving card. It was easy to make 10 of them. You know I sometimes need to find some speedy cards to make with a little one running around!

Have a great week!

New Peekaboo Frames

My son has a birthday party coming up for one of his friends at school and I thought this would be a perfect card to give to her! I used the new Peekaboo frames die and found the card idea from Stampin Connection. Looks complicated? No, I just ran the frame die through the Big Shot and afterwards scored it where the frame is supposed to bend. The number "2" is from my friend's cricut machine. Hope she likes it!

"Spooky" Halloween Cards

Well, I can finally share with you my Halloween cards since my relatives have all received them by now. They were really fun to make! Instructions for the view master card (left) can be found at Dawn Olchefske's blog (http://dostamping.typepad.com).  Just turn the wheel to see more spooky fun!

The idea for the ghost card came from one of my fellow demo's (can't remember who though). I used the owl punch to make the ghosts. Isn't that neat? The owl punch is so versatile, all you have to do is cut off his feet and turn him upside down.

Happy Halloween!

Fall Tissue Box

I've finally been able to work on my tissue box! It has been on my mind for quite sometime. We will see how long it takes me to make a Christmas one. Anyways, making this tissue box was not hard especially if you have good instructions which can be found at Monica Weaver's site:

https://www.mcssl.com/content/163751/AUGUST_2011/VINTAGE_WALLPAPER_METAL_EMBOSSED_TISSUE_BOX_COVER.pdf

I like her metal sheets too and may have to purchase some of those so I can have a pretty tissue box out all year round. Check them out!

Lil' Frankenstein

Today we had a Fall festival at our clubhouse and my little boy Jake was dressed up as Lil' Frankenstein. He doesn't look very excited in this photo but he did have fun! I was surprised he kept the headpiece on for so long. Enjoy!
