Happy New Year's Eve! As promised, here is the pink felt Valentine heart wreath. I forgot to mention in the other post that Mom and I first cut each felt piece and then rolled it through the Big Shot machine using one of the Circle Framelit dies. This made it much easier than tracing each circle using a soup can then cutting it out. Don't know what I would do without my Big Shot machine!
We made these cute flower brooches using the Big Shot and the Fun Flowers die available from Stampin' Up! All you need is fabric, buttons, and a glue gun. No sewing required. So pretty! Can't wait to wear it on my jacket!
I saw this wreath on Pinterest and had to give it a try. Luckily, my Mom was here to help since we cut 173 felt circles(thanks, Mom!) and talked while we worked so it went by pretty fast. She is taking this one home with her so we are going to make a hot pink one for me. Stay tuned!
We wanted Jake's work table in our kitchen to match our home decor so Chris and Dad built this beautiful table and stool during the Christmas break. They did a great job! The color matches my curtains perfectly!
Merry Christmas to all of my friends and family! I hope you are having a wonderful day! It's a quiet afternoon over here today so I decided to make a few cards. I guess I will save these for next year! :-)
We are getting ready for Santa to arrive with Rudolph and his friends! Sprinkle this on your lawn tomorrow night to create a glittering path and Santa's reindeer can have a sweet snack while they wait! Magic Reindeer Food recipe includes oatmeal and red/green sugar crystals. Super easy to make!
Chris is at it again and this time it's this beautiful wreath hanger. My contribution to this project is the actual wreath made with red burlap and I bought the Christmas bow at Michael's since they were on sale. Easy peasy!
I am so excited to share with you this wooden Advent Calendar made by my crafty hubby, Chris! This is a great way to start the Christmas countdown and Jake has a daily goody bag to open until the "Big" day. Chris found this idea on www.shanty-2-chic.com. There are some cool projects on this site. Enjoy!
With Thanksgiving right around the corner, I had to hurry and finish up these cards so I can start working on my next favorite holiday, CHRISTMAS! Yay! These holidays always sneak up on me! :-)
Yes, I know I am all over the place with these stamp kits but I AM catching up! I thought these were kinda cute and made my own version of them. Do you like my vintage flower frog? I am sure you are saying to yourself "What is that?"... It is a card stand (or at least that's what I am using it for) which is holding up the center card. Isn't it neat? Found it on Etsy. Enjoy!
I needed one of these notepads and was able to put this together in less than 5 minutes. Thanks Stampin Up'. Notice my new wooden display the notepad is on? Chris made this for me to give my crafts a little more background decor. Awesome!
Here is a simple and quick Halloween card to add to my spooky card collection. We are less than one week away from Halloween!! Are you ready? Jake is so excited!! We will be on our third costume by the end of the weekend. :-)
I have seen this technique trending on other stamping blogs that I follow so I had to give it a try. All you need is your Stampin Up' ink pad and painter's tape. Pretty neat!
I joined the Stampin' Up! Kit program several months ago and I am trying to catch-up since I am bit behind and another kit is on the way! This kit is from August..ugh! Anyways, it costs around $20 per month and you get all the stamps, ink, paper, and accessories to create the projects. Cards, a journal, and a decor item are what I have seen so far. They only take about 30 minutes to make so it's perfect if you need a quick stampin' fix! I took it a step further this time and not only did the sample shown per their instructions provided but used some of my own creativity on 3 of them. Enjoy!
Birthday party season has arrived! So, this means I have to make ALOT of little boy and girl birthday cards. Yay! This card is so cute and was very quick to make which is key when Jake wants to help. I usually give him some markers and paper so he feels like he is involved :-). Every little girl loves Hello Kitty so I am sure this card will be a hit! My inspiration came from www.maggiemadecards.com and she has all of the instructions on her website to make this cute card. Enjoy!
You know I had to switch up my door wreath for this wonderful season we have just entered into. I love Fall even though current temperatures are a bit warm at the moment :-(
This combination is my absolute favorite and I can probably leave this on my door through the Thanksgiving holidays. Yippee! Enjoy!
This day gives me a great excuse to make a card! Yes, it's World Cardmaking Day for all of you who didn't know. Since Halloween is right around the corner, I dusted off my Spooky Bingo Bits stamp set, got out my Big Shot, and put together this cute card. This card would be perfect to send to my niece, Lauren! Enjoy!
This box on wheels is perfect to store Jake's outdoor toys. There are so many ways you can use old used pallets found on the
side of the road or from construction sites. Chris recycled the pallet into a box, added some wheels and wood trim, and put his painting skills to work for just under $10. What a steal!
You can find a variety of these signs on Etsy but here is the one Chris made. Isn't it awesome?!? The sign was made from an extra kitchen cabinet door we had lying around. He printed the letters off of the computer and cut them out with an x-acto knife. Then used daubers to apply the paint. Pretty cool!!
My hubby, Chris, has been quite the woodcrafter lately. He is really
enjoying his workstation in the garage. Now all he
needs is a ceiling fan, and he will be out there for hours!! Here are some neat projects he has been working on for the past few weeks.
When I was asked to be in charge of the decorations for a very good friend's baby shower, I immediately said yes!! I had so much fun doing this and absolutely love the diaper wreath since you know that making wreaths is my "thing" at the moment. I hope you enjoy viewing these as much as I did making them!
I love using this blog to share with you my passion for paper crafting and other fun creations such as Chris' wood crafting designs.
I recently signed up as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator since I am trying to spend more time in my craft room and the discount is awesome. Stamping is a great stress reliever too! I have been using Stampin' Up! products for many years and love the quality and how everything matches!
Enjoy "our" fun!
